I like the idea of microblogs because at the core of it they are very personal. Very intimate with the writer. While professions come and go, hobbies come and go, in the end of the day when it’s all said and done we are still living our lives in whatever shape or form and to be able to share it throughout all those changes is in my opinion a remarkable thing.
Some prefer to share the happy parts only. Some sad. Some don’t like to share at all. Whatever your preference, it’s fine just the way it is. I’m not one for writing long essays about the depth of my feelings regardless of their nature, good or bad, but I do feel like if I would write such a thing it would be easier to write it on a positive matter. And for the bad, sharing a picture that gets a hold of one’s mind says more than a thousand words.
As we all go by our days we read news almost daily about someone famous or important dying – and us regular folk are no different, we’re just as mortal as they are. Life can end with a moments notice, before you could even blink an eye. When that inevitable event eventually happens to me, I want to leave behind a trail of memories. Right here.
